Beyond Writing Podcast is up!
Bright Little Light Press is excited to announce the launch of its new podcast: Beyond Writing.
In the Beyond Writing podcast, BLLP – a small indie publisher – will attempt to demystify the publishing industry. Our target audience is mainly writers who are interested in publishing their work, and we’ll cover everything from the moment you finish writing (yes, we’ve got opinions about rewriting!) to the publication process – and what happens after publishing.
We believe that writers have a lot of misconceptions about the publication process, so we’re attempting to make the entire industry more accessible to people who are writing books, or have just finished writing books, and want to know what happens next. It’s the perfect dose of reality – mixed with advice – for your morning coffee!
You might also be interested if you’re an avid reader who wants to understand how your favorite books go from a story idea to the beautiful paper (or electronic!) copy you hold in your hand. Or of you’re someone who’s curious about a career in the publishing industry. Or if you want to know a little about how a small indie publisher differs from a big publishing behemoth.
(Hint: we’re agile! And wear a lot of hats. But are also infinitely more squish-able.)
